The Silicon Valley Sales Operations
Forum was formed in 2006 by Alison Chandless and Price Burlington,
two Sales Operations executives. The forum's member list includes
more than 100 Sales Operations professionals from Xilinx, Apple,
NetApp, WebEx, Salesforce.com and many other Bay Area companies.
The Sales Operations Forum is a venue for
sales operations executives to network, exchange ideas and share
best practices. Quarterly meetings focus on topics such as sales
effectiveness, sales methodologies, compensation, CRM, and field
communication. The forum is open to Sales Operations executives;
vendors and consultants may be sponsored by members for specific
topical discussions. Because members host the events, there is no
cost to attend the meetings or to join the group.
