The Silicon Valley Sales Operations
Forum was formed in 2006 by Alison Chandless and Price Burlington,
two Sales Operations executives. The forum's member list includes
more than 100 Sales Operations professionals from Xilinx, Apple,
NetApp, WebEx, Salesforce.com and many other Bay Area companies.
The Sales Operations Forum is a venue for
sales operations executives to network, exchange ideas and share
best practices. Quarterly meetings focus on topics such as sales
effectiveness, sales methodologies, compensation, CRM, and field
communication. The forum is open to Sales Operations executives;
vendors and consultants may be sponsored by members for specific
topical discussions. Because members host the events, there is no
cost to attend the meetings or to join the group.

If history is any indication of the future, next
year's revenue bar will be raised higher. What are we
going to do differently in order to achieve those new
goals? While we are focused on results through
the end of 2008, it's time to look towards 2009. During this session
we are going to share best practices for truly optimizing performance.
For
each topic below, Jim Dickie, CSO Insights, will share
the results of their 2008 sales performance study and
work with customers such companies as HP, Avnet and Experian. In
small group discussions we'll discuss best practices
for solving these challenges.
